Doncaster East and Templestowe Village Community Bank® branches of the Bendigo Bank
One of our major sponsors is the Bendigo Bank – Doncaster East & Templestowe Village Community Bank® Branches.
These Bendigo Bank branches are Community Banks, and up to 80% of the profits go directly back to the local community, by way of sponsorship and grants. Over the past 14 years , the two branches have given back $3 million to sporting clubs and nonprofit organisations in the Manningham Community. In fact, Donvale Bowls Club has received over 32 thousand dollars since commencing sponsorship. Community Banks across Australia have given back in excess of $165 million in total.
As you would appreciate there are only so many sponsorship dollars to go around and the Bank needs our members to support them in order that they can continue to support our club. The more members who bank with Doncaster or Templestowe Village branches, the more money they will be able to give back.
Please consider and recommend Bendigo Bank if:
- Your children or grand children do not have accounts and would like to start a saving account.
- You’re not satisfied with your current accounts or loans,
- Your insurance policy is due for renewal, Bendigo Bank has several products if you would like to compare .
- You would like to open superannuation accounts ,
- You would like to review your investment portfolios or term deposits and see if a better deal or interest rate is available,
- Young families are wanting to refinance or are seeking to negotiate a home loan,
As part of the Sponsorship agreement our Club receives an incentive payment for any new accounts opened .We stress you should identify yourself as a DBC member. This incentive is additional to the monies we receive so it further helps in maintaining the financial viability of the club.
Please note that any accounts must be held with either of the Doncaster East & Templestowe Village Community Bank® Branches for the club to receive the benefit. Members are reminded that sponsorship is a two way street and we have to ensure that if we want to gain any long term benefit, members should make the effort to reciprocate the support.
If you already have accounts with the Bank, we thank you. However the Bank may not be aware of this and we should inform the bank accordingly. This can be done directly by e-mailing Lisa Jones at the Doncaster East Branch. Her e-mail address is [email protected] bank.com.au. Confidentiality is assured.
Remember our Club logo “We are Donvale” so let the bank know.
If you would like to contact and arrange a meeting to review your banking needs you can follow this link and you will be contacted by a real person from the bank within 24 hours.
Donvale Bowls Club is approximately 20 km east of Melbourne located in the Mullum Mullum reserve at the corner of Springvale and Reynolds Roads, on the site of what was the White family orchard.
We are a “small friendly Club” and our objective is to maintain our facilities in excellent condition to enable our members to enjoy both social and competitive bowls together with a wide range of social activities. Our goal is to be a “vibrant, growing and successful Club”.
We have two greens, an excellent artificial surface which also has lights and enables all year round bowls and a Santa Anna couch grass green, both of which has been refurbished over recent years and are in top condition.
Donvale currently fields 5 Saturday pennant teams and one Tuesday Night pennant teams together with 6 Tuesday Open pennant teams.
Social bowls includes Twilight Bowls, Wednesday evenings during summer and Sunday bowls all year round, other days regularly organized. In addition members can bowl on other days / times.
Our focus is to enable all members to strive to bowl at the level they want to, whether social or competitively and we provide coaching and development sessions to enable this to occur.
New members are welcome, both experienced and new bowlers and free tuition is provided.
